Read your own world
The Core is the centre of your world. Begin in The Undergrounds, then explore outward into the Clay Caves and Forgotten Ruins. Their orientation changes with the world seed, so another player’s map is not a fixed coordinate sheet for your save.
If you need tin but keep finding stone ruins, travel around the inner region toward the clay side instead of digging farther in the same direction.
Get beyond the wall
The Great Wall is an early progression gate. Defeat Glurch, Ghorm and Malugaz, return their statue items, finish the Core dialogue and touch the wall. The outer regions include Azeos’ Wilderness, the Sunken Sea and the Desert of Beginnings.
See the beginner route if the wall is still blocking you.
Share explored areas
At the Iron Workbench stage, make a Cartography Table. Each player or character must interact with the table to store or exchange that world’s explored map information. Joining the same multiplayer world should not be treated as automatically sharing every explored tile.
Mark ore boulders, boss routes and entrances you want to revisit. Use the relevant boss scanner when your goal is a particular boss.
Avoid misleading radius charts
This guide does not give universal boss radii or fixed directions. World type, generation history and seed can change how a map should be read. Check these before following a map tool or an old distance chart; the name of a biome is more useful than an unsupported exact coordinate.
